Professor in Constitutional law at the University of Valencia.

She earned a doctorate in Law at the same university in 1997.

Member of Valencia University’s Human Rights Institute from its foundation to the present.

She teaches postgraduate courses in: University of Valencia (Valencia, Spain), Hernán Cortés University (Xalapa-Veracruz, Mexico), Andean University (Quito, Ecuador), Ombudsman (Caracas, Venezuela).

She has led as main investigator the following research projects:

“Emigration and new forms of slavery in the XXI century” (Ref. (GV2005-205) Valencian Government 2005-2006, and 

“Women and double discrimination”, (Ref. DER 2009-09947), funded by the National R&D Plan, Ministry of Science and Innovation, 2010-2012.  

She has participated as a researcher in various projects relating to human rights:

“The principle of equality in the Spanish Constitution” (Ref. GV99-19-1-08). Valencian Government. 2000-2002 (main investigator Josefa Ridaura Martinez)
