María Dalli is an International Doctor in Law from the University of Valencia. After completing an undergraduate degree in Law María went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Human Rights, Democracy and International Justice, winning the extraordinary award of the University for both degrees. María is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Human Rights Institute, receiving funding from the Generalitat Valenciana and the European Social Fund.
Her main area of research is social rights. María completed her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Professor María José Añón on the universal entitlement to the right to health. From 2018, her postdoctoral research analyses the access conditions for minimum income support from comparative and human rights perspective. She has conducted research stays at the University of Groningen, the University College of London and the University of Edinburgh. María has taught in the Human Rights and Legal Theory subjects in the degree of Law and in the Social Rights subject in the degree of Social Work. She also collaborates with the Legal Clinic for Social Justice of the Universitat de València.
